What is Dark Tantra?
Dark Tantra is the fusion of tantric presence with BDSM’s precision.
It takes the practices of tantra (breathwork, meditation, eye-gazing, sound, movement, and energetic connection) and weaves them with the practices of BDSM (bondage, impact, sensory play, power exchange, discipline, dominance and submission, sadomasochism, and roleplay.)
Dark Tantra is about deepening awareness while expanding into sensation and intensity.

When you enter a Dark Tantra Play Party, you step into a space designed not just for connection and exploration, but for being truly experienced. While we offer guided arrivals, clear agreements, color-themed containers, and rituals with aftercare, what makes our play parties unique is the role of the Dungeon Monitors.
Dungeon Monitors are trained professionals whose focus is on you. They don’t just keep the space safe, they offer direct experiences for individuals and couples who want to explore. From eye gazing and massage to bondage and impact, you’ll always find a Dungeon Monitor or two ready to guide you into sensation within their own boundaries and expertise. This means you can arrive knowing that your journey into intensity and play will be supported by skilled practitioners who prioritize your safety, consent, and growth.
Temple Keepers are also present to anchor the container, ensuring the vibe of reverence, nourishment, and care carries through the entire night. Together, Dungeon Monitors and Temple Keepers create a space where you’re not just another guest, you’re held, seen, and invited to explore more deeply than you imagined.

We host events in three distinct energetic flavors. Choose your comfort:

White Tantra — Breath, Presence, & Connection
Non-sexual, clothed or minimally sensual containers
Workshops, Performances, and community events
Great for beginners and those building trust with their own body
Pink Tantra — Sensuality, Rope, & Sensation
Introduces nudity and the practice of being comfortable in our bodies and around others
No penetrative play. This is about exploring erotic containers without the expectation that it leads to sex

The Temple Journey
If you’re interested in attending our Pink and Red Play Parties, this journey is required*. Following these steps ensures that everyone who enters the Temple is prepared, aligned, and ready to contribute to the container with respect and intention.
Step 1
Apply for Membership & Review the Agreements
Submit your request to join through our private community portal. Every member must read and accept our consent, safety, and community guidelines before being admitted. Applications are typically approved within 24 hours.
Step 2
Orientation & Engagement
New members begin by making a welcome post inside the discussion board and completing the Consent & Play Party Etiquette Course and Quiz. This course dives deeper into our frameworks, color-path overview, and basic tantra foundations. Completing the course grants you access to our Pink and Red events. To keep the container sacred, this course must be retaken once per year.
Step 3
RSVP for Exclusive Events
Once orientation is complete and the consent course is passed, members unlock the ability to RSVP for play parties, workshops, and retreats across the country. This ensures every attendee arrives informed, prepared, and aligned with the container.
* There is no requirement to come to the pink and red events to join the group. We offer white themed events and free courses within the community that you can enjoy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is sex required?
No. Participation is always optional. Observing is valid.
Do I need experience?
No. We’ll teach you what you need to know for the container you choose.
What do I wear?
Check the event theme and color. White (comfortable/clothed), Pink (sensual/cute), Red (themed events). Consent applies to clothing removal.
Where are these events located?
Mainly in Houston and Austin, but we also travel to other states including New York, Las Vegas, Florida, Los Angeles, Oregon, and Maine. Each event is labeled with its location.
Do I need to come to an event to join?
No, you don’t. You can join the community first and attend when you’re ready.
My partner and I want to join. Can we make a joint application?
No, we require one application per person to maintain the integrity and safety of the space.
