Dark Tantra Temple is a consent-forward, trauma-informed community where presence meets intensity. We run workshops, social gatherings, and guided experiences, led by trained facilitators and held by Temple Monitors who keep the room safe.
Consent comes first. So does emotional safety, and respect for every body. Beginners are welcome here, and so are people who've practiced for years. What we share is taking care as seriously as we take connection.

Every gathering rests on the same foundation. These aren't slogans — they're how we run every event.
Consent-first
Nothing happens without an enthusiastic yes. Boundaries are asked for, respected, and easy to change at any moment.
Trauma-informed
We move at the pace of the nervous system. You never have to explain yourself to slow down, pause, or step out.
Body-inclusive
Every body is welcome here — every size, shape, ability, age, and experience level. Beginners belong.
LGBTQIA+ welcoming
All genders and orientations are celebrated. This is a space to be exactly who you are.
Temple Monitors present
Trained monitors hold every deeper gathering, watching over the room so you can drop in and feel safe.
Three distinct containers. Enter at your own pace.
Each tier has its own access requirements — White is open to all; Pink and Red require membership and the consent course. Each is a different level of intimacy and intensity.
Pink
Touch, breath, and sensation. A step deeper than White, at a soft to medium intensity.

The very first Austin Embodiment Festival. And trust us, this definitely will not be the last. We have been dreaming this festival into being for over ten years. A space where dance, embodiment, connection, nervous system care, expression, intimacy, movement, play, music, authenticity, and community could all live together under one roof. And now it’s finally here. We chose Austin because it has long been one of our favorite cities on the planet. A city filled with creativity, weirdness, artistry, movement, music, open hearts, and people brave enough to explore being fully alive. This is not just another festival where you watch from the sidelines. This is a living experience. A playground for embodied expression. A dance lover’s paradise where movers, feelers, healers, creators, seekers, and curious humans come to come alive. One class may have the room pulsing with ecstatic dance and wild laughter. The next may slow everything down into breath, stillness, intimacy, nervous system relaxation, and connection so honest it changes something inside you. This festival was created for the people hungry for something real. For the ones tired of living from the neck up. For the dancers. The healing hearts. The awkward beautiful humans. The playful ones. The deeply feeling people who want community without pretending.
