Interested in volunteering or stepping deeper into the Dark Tantra Temple?
Becoming a Temple Keeper is how you serve the space and community from the inside.
You’ll help shape the flow of our events, assist guests, and hold the energy of the Temple with presence and care.
To serve as a Dungeon Monitor, you must:
Be an approved member of the Dark Tantra Temple.
Have experience in BDSM or facilitation (training preferred).
Complete the Consent & Play Party Etiquette Course.
Be confident in maintaining boundaries and offering safe, trauma-informed touch.
Be comfortable communicating with guests of all experience levels.
What is my role?
To put it simply, becoming a Dungeon Monitor is a volunteering role with responsibility and presence at events. Each event will include one or more Dungeon Monitor slots. Below are the responsibilities and expectations:
Before the Event
~ Arrive early for team briefing.
~ Review safety protocols, equipment, and event layout.
~ Check in with facilitators for assignments and station placement.
During the Event
~ Maintain awareness of all play and energy dynamics in the space.
~ Offer participants guided experiences within your skillset and boundaries.
~ Intervene calmly and confidently if unsafe or non-consensual activity occurs.
~ Model clear communication, enthusiastic consent, and emotional regulation.
~ Support Temple Keepers and facilitators as needed.
~ Clean up your play stations after each scene — keeping the Temple organized and ready for the next participant.
After the Event
~ Report any incidents, boundary concerns, or observations to the lead facilitator.
Compensation Options
Dungeon Monitors have two options for compensation:
Paid Role
Recieve
$75
for your time and service at the event.
If you choose this option, your guest will need to purchase their own ticket to attend.
Free Entry + Guest
Attend the event for free and bring one guest at no cost.
If you select this option, you will not receive monetary compensation.
You’ll select your preferred option when you claim your Dungeon Monitor role on the calendar
How does it work?
Step 1
Apply for the Dark Tantra Temple
If you haven't done so already, please apply to join the Dark Tantra Temple before applying to become a Dungeon Monitor
Step 2
Fill out the Dungeon Monitor Application
It's quick (a lot shorter than the application, I promise lol) and approval happens within 2-3 hours.
Step 3
Access the private channel within the community
There will be a link to a calendar where you can register for the upcoming events as a Dungeon Monitor.
