This agreement outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and ethics of serving as a Temple Keeper within the Dark Tantra Temple community.
1. Purpose
Temple Keepers are sacred space holders. Your presence ensures that our events flow smoothly, safely, and with reverence. You serve both logistically and energetically. Helping guests feel grounded, cared for, and supported in every moment.
2. Expectations
As a Temple Keeper, you agree to:
Arrive on time, fully prepared, grounded, and in a present state of mind.
Bring a fruit or food offering to share with the Temple.
Stay for the entire duration of the event, including setup and teardown.
Follow the direction of facilitators and Dungeon Monitors when requested.
Maintain a clear, sober, and stable state throughout the event (no drugs, alcohol, or altered states).
Model consent, awareness, and emotional regulation at all times.
Hold confidentiality for anything witnessed or shared within the Temple.
3. Responsibilities
Before the Event:
~ Arrive early to assist with setup and altar or space preparation.
~ Check in with facilitators for role assignments.
~ Help greet and orient guests as they arrive.
During the Event:
~ Hold presence and observe the energy of the room.
~ Offer water, snacks, and emotional support when needed.
~ Help maintain flow and support transitions between rituals or play segments.
~ Support Dungeon Monitors and facilitators as needed.
After the Event:
~ Assist with cleanup and breakdown.
~ Participate in closing circle or grounding if available.
4. Boundaries
You agree to maintain clear, professional, and compassionate boundaries with all participants.
You will not initiate physical touch or play without consent and facilitation direction.
You understand that your role is service-oriented, not performance-based.
You will immediately report any boundary violations, consent breaches, or safety concerns to the lead facilitator or event organizer.
5. Conduct & Integrity
Temple Keepers represent the values of the Dark Tantra Temple. You agree to:
~ Practice non-judgment, respect, and compassion for all participants.
~ Communicate clearly and respectfully with the team and attendees.
~ Maintain confidentiality about anything witnessed or shared in the space.
~ Refrain from gossip or drama before, during, or after events.
~ Notify the organizer if you are unable to attend at least 48 hours before your scheduled shift.
6. Grounds for Removal
Temple Keepers hold a position of trust. Failure to uphold the standards of this agreement may result in suspension or removal from the Temple Keeper role. Grounds for removal include (but are not limited to):
No-Call / No-Show: Registering for an event and not showing up without notice.
Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancelling less than 48 hours before an event without valid reason.
Neglecting Responsibilities: Failing to perform assigned duties or disengaging from the role during service.
Breach of Confidentiality: Sharing or discussing private participant experiences, event details, or internal communications outside of the Temple.
Violation of Consent or Safety Protocols: Any behavior that compromises the physical or emotional safety of others.
Substance Use: Showing up under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Disrespectful Conduct: Speaking or behaving in ways that create drama, tension, or disruption within the team or toward guests.
Failure to Follow Facilitator Direction: Ignoring leadership guidance or disrupting the event’s flow.
Behavior Misaligned with Temple Policy: Acting in ways that contradict the mission, ethics, or spiritual integrity of the Dark Tantra Temple.
The Dark Tantra Temple reserves the right to remove a Temple Keeper from service at any time if their conduct is deemed misaligned with the safety or sanctity of the space.
7. Acknowledgment
By agreeing, you affirm that you:
Have read and understand all expectations and responsibilities.
Have completed (or will complete) the Consent & Play Party Etiquette Course.
Are an approved member of the Dark Tantra Temple.
Acknowledge that failure to uphold this agreement may result in removal from the Temple Keeper role.
